Are You Looking For Some Fun Activities To Do With Your Child This Summer?

The Main Street Amherst Explorers Club is an opportunity for kids of all ages to get out and explore all that our community has to offer. Complete as many activities as you like from July 10th to August 14th. Whether you choose one activity or try to complete them all, the goal is to just have fun! Here’s how it works. Pick up your Kids Explorer’s Club kit at the Main Street Amherst’s booth at the Walkin’ on Wednesday (W.O.W.) event on Wednesday, July 10 from 4pm to 7pm (Kits are limited to the first 100 Explorer’s). Select an activity. When you complete the activity, bring your Adventure Guide, lanyard and proof that you completed the activity (photo, drawing, list etc.) to the sponsoring Explorer Station to receive your activity pin. There is a different pin for every activity – no two are alike! (You can only complete each activity once – no double pins). If you miss it at W.O.W. you may pick up a Kids Explorer’s Club kit at the Amherst Public Library after July 10th. For the final adventure, come downtown to W.O.W. on Wednesday on August 14th between 4pm to 7pm. Please bring your Adventure Guide and lanyard which should have all your pins attached to the First Federal Savings and Loan Bank of Lorain booth. Once there you will receive a Bonus Pin and be entered in the Grand Kids Explorer’s Club drawing! If you cannot make it to W.O.W. on August 14th, come to the Main Street Amherst office by Friday, August 16th by noon.
