Come to Amherst and experience the quaint, small town feeling of a charming community with a distinctive business district, unique architecture, and a historic downtown that characterizes nineteenth century America.

Main Street Amherst has been designed to promote all aspects of the downtown business district by improving economic management, strengthening public participation, recruiting new businesses, rehabilitating buildings, and making downtown a fun place to visit.

Volunteers are always needed to help reach our goals! No amount of time or energy is too small. There are many different ways for you or business to be involved. Check out the Community Calendar for various committee meetings and events to learn more.

On the day of the event, participates need to do the following:

*Bring your ticket with the information on the back filled out. *Registration will take place between 11am to 1pm. Once registration is over you will no longer be able to participate. *Each ticket holder must be present with their ticket in order to get their bag and information to participate. *Registration will take place on the loading dock behind the Main Street Amherst Community Center (255 Park Avenue).

Main Street Amherst is looking for vendors for our Farmer's Market Stands Artistic Vendors, Non-Profits and Classic Car/Truck Owners to participate in our growing WOW events this summer. Participate in one or all four of them! All the forms are located on the website under the tab " Forms & More".
