He has a particular expertise in fitting contact lenses for patients with a history of ocular trauma, keratoconus, and post-surgical patients.

Dr. Stocker also serves as the Director of the Contact Lens Clinic at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, a position he has held since 1985. He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at both the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, where he teaches ophthalmology residents, and at the Ohio State University College of Optometry. He has been a member of the American Optometric Association since 1978. He is active with his church and community organizations, including the Amherst Rotary Club.
